Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush is an American boy group
that is specialized in pop music. It was formed in 2009. The group is comprised
of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow and also Logan Henderson and Carlos
PenaVega. They signed their first contract with Nick Records in 2009 before
switching to Columbia Records. The group starred in the television series on
Nickelodeon with the same title, Big Time Rush. The show aired from the
beginning of November 28, 2009 to July 25 2013. The pilot episode featured the
group's first promo single, "Big Time Rush". Three studio albums were
released by the group: BTR in 2010 and Elevate (2011), and 24/Seven (2013). In
2014, the band went on a break indefinitely that lasted until 2021. The group
resumed live performances and released "Call It Like I See It".
Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush a record contract in 2009 and was
simultaneously airing the television series Big Time Rush. Then, Nickelodeon
partnered with Columbia/Epic Label Group to produce the show, and also to add
original soundtrack to the show. The show's debut single, "Big Time
Rush" was released on November 29 on the 29th of November. The song was
officially made public on Nickelodeon the song first aired in the U.S. November
2009 and was later broadcast worldwide. It debuted during a preview of the
series. It's the current theme for the show's opening. The series also saw
releases of promotional singles including "City is Ours" and
"Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also recorded the Play song
"Famous", which was written by him. The song was released on iTunes
on June 29th 2010. The song's second, "Halfway There", was also
released to iTunes following its premiere on the show. The band soon became
their first charting song on the Billboard Hot 100. It was ranked 93 due to the
digital sales. The second single from Big Time Rush, "Till You Forget
About You", was released on the 21st of September on the 21st of
September. This was to promote their debut album. BTR, the album BTR was
released on October 11 10th, the 11th of October. It debuted at number three on
the Billboard 200. It sold the album at 67,000 copies in its first week.
